Students loved developing plays to go with their water unit. The photo shows a play about water in action.
Below is a self evaluation that students filled in. It is identical to a teacher evaluation that was used to give a grade. Letter grades were given based on the checklists.
Math and Art
Students worked on a math application involving patterned headbands. As evaluation, they had to create the patterned headband that they designed, and it had to match the one in their evaluation!
Math
I developed this math test, upon request and with the help of my CT, to assess how well students were grasping the material we had been doing in class. These grades were quite high, reflecting good teaching, and were subsequently used in the report card.
